How RepoSwap Works

RepoSwap is a peer-to-peer car-swapping platform designed to help people avoid repossession. Our goal: keep you mobile, protect your credit, and connect you with people in the same fight.

1. List Your Car

Tell us your car (make / model / condition) and what kind of car you actually need to survive work and daily life.

2. Get Matched

We line you up with someone whose situation matches yours — and who wants what you have.

3. Swap Safely

Use clear written agreements and in-app chat so you’re not just handing keys in a parking lot and praying.

Trust & Safety

You are not crazy for being scared. Swapping cars with a stranger sounds risky. RepoSwap is built to lower that risk and keep you in control.

Clear Paper Trail
You both get a written swap agreement with names, VINs, and terms in normal human English.
Private Messaging
Talk inside the platform before you meet. You decide if it feels safe.
Reputation System
Users build a rating. If somebody lies about the condition of their car, everyone will know.
You Can Walk Away
You’re never locked in. If you don’t feel good, you don’t sign. Period.

We use basic analytics to understand traffic and interest. We do not track or sell behavior to debt collectors, lenders, repo companies, or insurers. Ever.

Terms of Service

RepoSwap is a platform where vehicle owners connect and talk about possible swaps. RepoSwap is not a car dealer, not a lender, not your lawyer, and not a repo agent.

You are responsible for telling the truth about your vehicle’s condition, payments, and title status. You are responsible for any agreement you enter into.

You agree not to harass, threaten, or scam other users. If you act dirty, we ban you.
